Friar

Typically drawn from the ranks of the peasantry or from the second sons of the penniless nobility, friars are simple village priests who aid Avalon's armies by lending their minor magic to treat the wounded or to provide defensive aid, while also providing solace for the soul. While they may not be able to summon great magicks, they are often able to prove that even minor magical aid can be a potent weapon when used at the right time, or in the right place.
